- Dennis Cao Added 2017-07-25★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Place is right next to the athabasca river and you could walk over to the lookout after a meal to enjoy the natural Vista. The food is as grand as that close by view. The cheese plate is wonderful, but I only wished there was more of that lovely pretzel roll they give you. The bison short ribs portion is massive. The meat melts off of the bone and is a great hearty meal after a long day of hiking. The apple struddle was luckily not that big, otherwise I probably would have KO'd there and then. It also was more like a middle slice if apple pie than a struddle though. Didn't matter though since it tasted fine. Great romantic spot to end the day.
